Brookvale is committed to conducting its operations in a safe, effective and resourceful manner. In providing quality product and services to its customers, the company will maintain its policy of giving due consideration to key environmental concerns and implications. The Company’s business and environmental commitment aims to save natural resources by reducing its energy consumption to the minimum, by recycling wherever practical and by using products from renewable resources wherever possible.
This commitment extends to all areas of its business. It further aims to strive continuously for improvement of our environmental performance in order to safeguard the quality of the environment, both locally and globally.
Brookvale has procedures in place which help it keep up to date with new environmental legislation and to ensure that all appropriate legislation and regulations are adhered to at all times. It is the aim of the Company, irrespective of any regulations or legislation, to be a good neighbour and to reduce to an absolute minimum any environmental impacts of its design, installation, servicing and waste disposal activities.
Procedures make provision for the setting, monitoring and completion of environmental objectives aimed at improving performance on environmental issues. These are communicated to staff, customers and made available to the public if requested. Objectives are set and reviewed by means of its environmental auditing, non-conformance control and the management review processes.
Brookvale operates and maintains an Environmental Management System in parallel with its ISO 9001 Quality System. The Directors and Managers are responsible, both individually and collectively, for communicating these needs to all employees and for enacting the environmental policy of the company.
This Environmental Policy is brought to the attention of all new and existing employees and is displayed around the site. It is freely available to any customer, potential customer or other outside interest, on request.
